Product Description
The galvanized stair tread grating is manufactured from parallel load-bearing bars connected by cross bars. Welded carrier plates at both ends allow the tread to be bolted or welded to steel stair stringers.
For outdoor stairs exposed to rain, mud or snow, serrated bearing bars provide additional surface grip. A checker-plate or perforated nosing can be added to define the front edge and improve contact at the leading part of the step.
The open-grid structure allows water, dirt and light debris to pass through rather than collect on the walking surface. Hot-dip galvanizing protects the fabricated steel tread, side plates and welded joints against outdoor corrosion.
Stair tread dimensions, bearing-bar spacing, nosing type and mounting-hole positions can be manufactured according to stair drawings and project loading requirements.
